Calibration procedure

Asyfill integrates a smart sensor that enables regulation of the vibration amplitude. To work properly, Asyfill must be calibrated.

When to calibrate the Asyfill?

Important

Your Asyfill requires a calibration before the first use

A calibration is also required when:

  • container is exchanged for another container of different size.

  • custom accessory is added to the container (spout, slide).

  • container is modified, please refer to section dissasembling the container

  • firmware is upgraded.

  • periodic maintenance of the Asyfill

To do before a calibration

Important

Before triggering a calibration procedure:

  • remove all parts from the container.

  • make sure your Asyfill is correctly fixed as described in mounting the Asyfill.

  • make sure that the container is properly fixed to the actuator base.

  • make sure that the container is free to move without interfering with a neighbouring element.

  • make sure that there is no nearby equipment that could generate unwanted vibrations.

Start the calibration

By pressing the push-button Calib. for ~5 seconds, the calibration process is triggered. During the calibration, the controller performs several frequency sweeps at different amplitude levels in order to find the optimal drive settings. An on-going calibration process is indicated by a blinking blue State LED (see Table 10). The calibration takes 30 to 60 seconds.

Important

During an on-going calibration:

  • do not touch the Asyfill.

  • do not touch the frame on which the Asyfill is mounted.

Was the calibration successful?

When the calibration is finished, the Status LED will confirm if the calibration was successful:

  • solid green signal for 5 seconds indicates that the calibration succeeded, new settings are stored.

  • solid red signal for 5 seconds indicates that the calibration failed, former settings are kept.

When the calibration fails, make sure that all the points described above have been respected and repeat the procedure. If the problem persists, please contact our support team from our website.
