Transportation, handling and installation

Packaging of the product, transportation and handling

The product must be transported in accordance with the specifications indicated on the package (top-bottom, fragile, etc.). In addition, the following points must be strictly respected:

  • Take adequate precautions during handling.

  • Do not climb on the package.

  • Never place heavy objects on the package.

  • Take particular care to avoid damaging the product during transportation.

  • If the shipping box is to be left standing, it should be in a horizontal position.

The Asyfill is delivered in two cardboard packages. One includes the Asyfill base and the other includes the container. The tables below give the dimensions and weight of the packages.

Unpacking instructions

Before unpacking:

  • Ask the transporter to be present at the time of unpacking.

  • Pay particular attention to the external condition of the product.

  • If any damage is noted, do not sign the receipt and contact Asyril immediately.

Note

If the products received do not match your delivery note, or are delivered in poor conditions, do not sign the receipt and contact Asyril as soon as possible.

Note

Do not remove Asyfill from its packaging until you are ready to install it.

Note

Keep the packaging material and the shipment box in case of return.

Follow the instructions below to unpack the Asyfill base:

Then locate the identification sticker at the back of the product and ensure that the product you have received is the appropriate one.

Important information is on this sticker; such as the power consumption or the serial number that you will need for any kind of correspondence with Asyril.

Installation environment

Caution

Asyfill must be mounted on a smooth, flat and strong surface. Ensure yourself that the Asyfill is not submitted to mounting flexure. Non-compliance with these rules may affect the performances. For more information please refer to Mounting the Asyfill.

The Asyfill can be used under following conditions:

Caution

In the case of humidity or temperature variation, note that it might affect the global performances of the product.

  • Avoid extreme electromagnetic waves, ultraviolet rays and radiation.

  • Avoid using the product in a place where it may be exposed to water or oil droplets.

Important

Do not use the product in an atmosphere of corrosive gases. Rust may form and reduce the structural strength of the product.

Storage Environment

The storage environment should be similar to the operating environment. In addition, the Asyfill should be protected from the dust.
